About

I do not write the code. I write the spec, run the agents that write it, and own the outcome when it ships.

That sounds like a shortcut until you look at what it demands. An agent will happily produce something that compiles, passes lint and does the wrong thing. The job is knowing what correct looks like, building the checks that prove it, and refusing to ship until they pass.

So the discipline is a delivery manager's, not an engineer's. One gate holds every decision that could reach a real person. The build fails on a hardcoded secret or a missing error branch. Queries are tested before anything runs — a habit that caught five bugs a structural check had already waved through.

Nine years of PMO and programme delivery is what makes this work. I have governed seven concurrent vendors and reported CAPEX to VP and C-level readers. Directing agents is the same problem with a faster loop: define done, sequence the work, verify honestly.

01Spec

Write down what correct looks like before anything is built, including the cases where it must refuse to act. Most agent failures are specification failures.

Run the build through agents against that spec, generating from code rather than clicking, so the same thing can be rebuilt tomorrow and fail loudly when it drifts.

Test the parts a reviewer cannot eyeball — queries against a real engine, behavioural assertions on the shipped artefact, not on the source that produced it.

One place holds every decision that can reach a person or spend money. No component gets to make that call locally.

Deploy, watch it, and say plainly what it does and where it breaks. Nine years of delivery governance is the part that does not automate.

Assistant Manager, BSS & Distribution Solutions

I run BSS and Distribution delivery for enterprise technology programmes. I took the CBS Upgrade middleware workstream through a 15-channel go-live in January 2026 and delivered Digital Distributor 15 days ahead of schedule. Both earned Go Getter Awards.

I govern IT Development CAPEX and seven concurrent vendors for VP and C-level stakeholders. The weekly reporting behind that used to take half a day. I rebuilt it as AI-assisted workflows that draft the status, RAID and retrospective packs, and I review every pack before it goes out. The cycle now takes under 90 minutes.

I also help the team use AI in their own work, so documentation and follow-ups move faster and more of our time goes to decisions.

Islamabad, Pakistan · delivering for Qatar and Saudi Arabia · May 2021 – Nov 2023

Project Manager

I ran Agile delivery and PMO for Gulf telecom, fintech and healthcare products, from requirements to go-live. The Ooredoo Qatar Travel SIM integration went live in three weeks for the 2022 tournament and lifted subscription revenue by 4%.

With a 15-person team I owned the plan, RAID, dependencies, budget and resourcing. UrbanPoint shipped with under 5% scope deviation, I proposed a reusable integration SDK for partner platforms, and I delivered healthcare work that brought multiple medical centres and hospitals onto one platform.

NowThe status updates and handoffs I ran by hand here are the kind I now automate with n8n and AI.

IT Project Coordinator, RF Engineering ProjectsFeb 2017 – Apr 2021

I was the link between RF engineers and the software team. Field requirements came in; AirView enhancements, test plans and release steps went out. The work served telecom deployments for TELUS, Bell, Nokia and T-Mobile, and I kept each tailored workflow buildable on one shared platform.

NowThis is where I learned to write the brief before the build. It is the same skill that gets good work out of AI today.

RF CoordinatorSep 2016 – Jan 2017

I coordinated RF drive tests, field activity, reporting and end-user training, and cut reporting errors by 30%.
